Submit a Paper to SSRN

The library can assist law faculty with submitting papers to SSRN.  We will assign the paper a series number in the series selected by the author (Northwestern has two research paper series: Public Law (the default series), and Law & Economics), and add the appropriate cover sheet to the paper.  The paper will then be submitted to SSRN.  

In addition to one or both of the Northwestern research paper series, authors may also distribute their papers via a number of SSRN’s subject-specific eJournals.  Authors may choose the eJournals themselves or SSRN allows authors to have SSRN select the appropriate eJournals in which to include the paper.  If you wish to have SSRN do this on your behalf, please note that in the comment field of our submission form.  You can see a list of SSRN’s subject-specific eJournals here.
